Hi guys so I'm really trying to keep the entrepreneurs I bring onto the blog varied in terms of ventures and industry. That way I can cater to more people. It also helps if you suggest people you know and point me in the right direction.
Right, so today we have Derin, owner of the popular blog 'Wonders of beauty' who has a beauty product. For those of you in the market for false lashes, you may want to read on. For those who would like to know the trick to applying false lashes, watch here.
For those of you that said no to both statements, please keep reading lol.
Much love to Derin for sharing the info about her beautiful lashes. I recommend trying them, I'm a loyal customer when it comes to Mac lashes, but BellaMinx will be a new edition to my falsies collection.
Please check her out and support by sharing this post, purchasing or both.
Thankyou
Be you, stay true and own who you are.

1. So as someone who’s followed
your blog, your makeup is always so gorg. Do you work full time as a makeup
artist? If not, what are you up to?
Thank
you and thank you for taking time out to keep up with my blog! Everyone always
assumes I’m a makeup artist. I’m actually a full time student studying
Mathematics and Computer Science!
2. What is a typical day in
Derin’s Life? Are you solely working on Bella Minx Lashes?
Being
a student takes so much of my time. My course is demanding so I’ve always got
deadlines to meet which means I can’t work solely on Bella Minx Lashes or spend
as much time updating my blog. I'm in university Mon-Fri so I just tend to work
with the free time I have.
3. Why eyelashes? What pushed you
to creating such a product in a highly competitive industry?
Well,
I didn't feel that I was quite ready to be a makeup artist but I wanted to get
into something within the beauty field besides blogging. When it comes to
makeup, I'm very picky and one of the things I hate the most is someone
spoiling such a beautiful base with horrible eyelashes. It can really ruin your
whole look! I'm not keen on eyelashes which look very synthetic and false as
they can even make your eyelids look weighed down. When I first started, mink
lashes weren't known to many people nor were they widely available; they were mainly marketed as an individual eyelash extensions option. The average woman
does not have time to be applying individual eyelashes unless it’s something
they have perfected. I wanted people to
be aware that even though they are wearing false eyelashes, it didn't have to
be so apparent which is why I decided that I wanted to offer a more natural
alternative to strip eyelashes.
4. Was it hard to set your business up? What has
been the biggest challenge thus far?
Setting
up wasn't necessarily the hard part. My biggest challenge to date has been the
marketing of my product. We all know that social media plays a huge part in
businesses today so balancing the use of platforms and my personal life has
been challenging. Also, as my price point is higher than the average price
you’d usually pay for regular lashes, people aren't always aware of the reason
why. Getting that point across to potential consumers has been one of my main
focuses. The main benefit of using Bella Minx Lashes is that although they are
slightly more expensive, they are reusable many times when handled with care.
You get a lot more for your money as most eyelashes can only be used once
before throwing them away.
5. And what has been the best
moment so far in creating and promoting Bella Minx Lashes?
One
of the best parts of creating Bella Minx Lashes would be feeling proud of my
accomplishments to date. Having celebrities wear your lashes and let you know
how much they love them just lifts me. I always tend to hold back from doing
things because of fear and partially because I can be such a perfectionist.
Even though I’m not yet where I want to be, it feels good to know that you’re
actually achieving something.
6. Tell us 3 reasons we should
purchase these lashes?
You need to try Bella Minx Lashes because:
They are
reusable, so can be used many times. Great value for money!
Bella
Minx Lashes are definitely more lightweight and natural looking. They mimic
your natural eyelashes and you will feel as though you are not even wearing
false eyelashes.
They can
be curled to your desire so if you feel that you need more lift in your eyelashes;
you are able to achieve that.
7. When I purchased my lashes, I
did use a discount code that was on your blog, is that available for readers to
use?
Yes,
my blog readers and readers of this chitchat are able to use the discount code
WONDERSOFBEAUTY for a special discount ;)
8. Where do you see yourself in
the next 5 years, in terms of entrepreneurship?
In
terms of entrepreneurship, I would love for Bella Minx to have blossomed even
more and I wouldn't mind having my own line of cosmetics.
9. Now that you've got lashes
under your belt, can we expect more beautiful make-up products?
Once I've got uni out of the way, who knows what’s next!
10. If you could give one piece of advice that would motivate or inspire someone what would it be?
10. If you could give one piece of advice that would motivate or inspire someone what would it be?
Always
believe in yourself as fear will hold you back. Anything can be done if you put
your mind to it. There definitely will be times where you feel like giving up
but it isn't worth it!
11. And where can we find you and Bella Minx Lashes?
Much love to Derin for sharing the info about her beautiful lashes. I recommend trying them, I'm a loyal customer when it comes to Mac lashes, but BellaMinx will be a new edition to my falsies collection.
