Hi guys, 

Back with another post. The more I dig, the more I discover more cute vendors. I have only been looking in Nigeria, but I will be checking out other African countries. Think Tinsel Town or Häagen-Dazs store where you can go in and have a cheeky sweet treat. Sometimes you want to indulge in some dessert. In Nigeria it’s becoming a trend and the founders of The Ice Cream Factory, Shade & Folusho Ogunleye started the cafe with a single focus in mind: to bring true, home-made, premium ice cream to the people of Nigeria and free them from the injustice of ice cream made from powdered mixes. As well as giving the new vibrant crowd of Nigeria somewhere to visit.

I’m not actually the biggest ice cream fan but when you bring in warm fluffy waffles, how can one say no. ICF offer luxury ice cream produced fresh. They use fresh milk and a special in-house recipe. Fine ingredients use to make delicious ice cream is a must try. Going to have to put this on my list of places to try out when I go over there.

Among their 30 variety, they have Madagascan Vanilla, White Chocolate Strawberry Swirl, Dulce de Leche (Caramel flavour), Cookies & Cream, Belgian Chocolate, Amarena (Wild cherries), Pistachio & Almond, Butter Pecan, Baileys, Cappuccino Chip, Caramel Cookie Crumble, Vanilla Chocolate Brownie and Strawberry Cheesecake.

They serve great accompaniments including their Signature Apple Crumble, Belgian Waffles, Crepes, Tiramisu, a variety of Cheesecakes, American-style muffins, Chocolate Brownies. They also try their best in delivering the finest products; we take pride in sourcing the highest quality ingredients locally. They claim at least 80% of their ingredients are sourced locally.

Now I’m feeling for a sweet treat myself!

Let's face it, Africa have many opportunities to grow more businesses. Many people are moving over there and people want to see that things are changing and progressing forward. We should all be supporting these businesses however we can. If you've been to ICF let me know what you thought!
